March Flower of the Month | The Daffodil

We’re officially a quarter of the way through, and I’ve got to say, I feel like I’ve really hit my stride with this project. I have officially planned out all twelve flowers and their colors, can pretty accurately anticipate how long each piece will take to carve and print, and genuinely enjoy working on each one!

I’ve had lots of questions about what materials I use, so I thought I would start adding in that information here:

Linoleum: Blick Golden-Cut Linoleum

Cutter: Flexcut Lino & Relief Printmaking Set

Brayer: Speedball Soft Rubber Brayer

Ink: Speedball Water Soluble Block Printing Inks

Baren: Speedball Baren

I’ve pretty consistently been purchasing my supplies from Blick. They’ve been around since 1911, and they are one of the largest art suppliers in the nation. As an affiliate for Blick, if you ever purchase materials through a link that I’ve used, I will be compensated a small percentage of your purchase.
