I’ve got a special surprise for you this week ✨ I’m having another misprint sale! The last sale went sooooo well, and I’ve been printing so much lately that I’ve certainly collected a whole bunch of prints to offer you over the last couple of months... it seemed the right time to do it again. Misprints are those pieces that didn’t have an even coating of ink or that got smudged, so they aren’t in good enough shape for me to sell, but there are parts of the print that still look great. In order to reduce waste and give you a special deal, I decided to cut out the good parts of those prints to make one-of-a-kind pieces at a huge discount for you! I made a template for 5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 inch paper sizes, and then used those templates to cut out new pieces! I’m really excited about this because these pieces are getting a new life, and you get a great deal! I’m working on a new collection of Fern prints! They’ll be 5x7 inches and will include TWO new ink colors that I’m calling Rose Quartz and Tangerine. I have been loving coming up with my own ink colors and working on color combinations. It’s been too long since I’ve picked up a paint brush, so a little doodling was in order. I’m using gouache here, which isn’t what I normally use, but I wanted to experiment with something more opaque than watercolor. I’m ordering some more linoleum today and plan on starting something new next week!
Happy May! The Lily of the Valley prints are officially available in my shop. I’m going to be printing 40 of each option and then they will be gone forever. I mixed up a new ink color that I named “sea glass” for this one. It’s lighter and more muted than “mint,” and I am loving it.
